Okay I know this may be a lame questions, but I resized a photo to a lower resolution to print it as a 5x7... now I am trying to print as a 8x10. Does anyone know if there is a way to get back to the original resolution of the pic. It was a digi that started with very large resolution size. I am so sad, but I don't know if there is a way to recover that I may not know about. I have a mac and us iphoto or photoshop elements. Any hope?

I use picassa on a pc, and when I resize a pic, it saves it separately from the original. I don't know if mac's work the same way though. I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

When I resize I usually save "as a copy" so the original is still intact...I don;t think there's a way to change it back Sad

I believe in photoshop you can do a "save as" and change the photo resolution there. At least that's how I've done it in the past.

You can't go back up in size unless you have saved the original photo somewhere....I have my settings to save all of my editing and adjustments as copies so that I always retain my original. If yours doesn't do that then check your files to where it was first downloaded on your computer or check your recycling bin to see if it's still there.
