Any card makers out there??

I love making my pages, but cards are so much fun too!! They are such quick projects. Plus, there is nothing like a handmade card.

I make cards. Instead of paying social dues at school I make handmade cards whenever anyone at school needs one and the whole staff signs it. They really seem to appreciate this better than those cheesy store bought cards. I don't think I've bought a card in years!! It's a great way to use up those scraps!

that is awesome (and coming from a teacher) ! Our hospitality just has everyone sign a piece of paper,,,not very exciting! And your cards are so great! I like cards but I only make them from scraps...wouldn't say I am a devoted card maker cause I stink at remembering to send them out.

I just got into card making, I would not say I am the best at it, but I do pretty good. I don't buy cards anymor either. I make them now and people love them

haven't bought a card in over a year. I always try to use scraps too.

LOVE making cards, esp when I want to be scrappy and don't have time to do a page... love sending them off too.

I LOVE making cards also! I usually try to throw some cards together right after I finish a layout using those scraps. Less to clean up that way! LOL!! Then, I have stash to grab from...I too haven't bought a card in a while!

Awhile back I was feeling pretty burnt out on scrapping so I started making cards and fell in love with stamping! Like I really needed another hobby to buy for right! lol Anyway I love making cards because you get that instant gratification unlike finishing a lo which can take me a long time!! tee hee!!

I love making cards too! I make them usually on a card making day...pull out card stuff and i'll literally sit and make cards for hours and then i am ready for the world! I am fixing to design the template for my thanksgiving cards which will be nice and easy. I can't wait....not working hobbylobby this wk so I should have some time to do atleast a few......we'll see.

me too and I love that feeling of making them myself too.

I used to hate making cards then suddenly it just clicked and now I love making them

Me, me! I keep my box of scraps just for my cardmaking!

I am TERRIBLE about remembering to send cards off. I will make them from scraps, usually as soon as I get finished with a layout. But then I leave them laying on my desk until it's no longer relevant to send them out! I think that making them is a nice way to use up extras as well as a fun little piece of art. And i LOVE getting them. wendi, I still have one you sent me last year! A blue, yellow, and white one! It's on my bulletin board cause I like it so much.
