How does that work long term? I know I love my Zig for sticking small letters down on my pages, but haven't tried it for gems.

I use glossy accents for gems. It dries clear, fast & stays put! Smile

I haven't had a problem. I've actually used it to glue down the gems that have come loose on the Jenni Bowlin butterflies.

I like Helmar's Scrap Dots...dries clear and can even add a 3D look if you'd like!! Smile

i almost always use glue dots, but occasionally I will use a glue gun too.
