| the twilight series? It seems like everyone I know is reading them or has already read them. I watched the movie once, against my better judgement. Not bad. But I see the books EVERYWHERE! So am i really missing something that fabulous? Someone tell me what it is about these books! | |

| I didn't read it..not too much of a reader, but I did have to go see the movie from all the hype about the book.my son said it is missing so much,as movies normally do.So, I do believe we'll be the people in the line at the midnight premiere ..you know the ones i normally think are crazy for doing so.ha! but my daughter will love it! she's even read them all.I did like the movie. | |

| I haven't read any of the books, nor did I see the 1st movie. My oldest two daughters have read them & both saw the movie... it just hasn't peeked my interest yet. | |

| my family watched the movie over and over but I wasn't that interested...I am typically not interested in sci fi...vampires etc. so I didn't bother reading the books. My ds has the book but not sure if he ever finished it. | |

| I was on the fence for a long time too, wasn't sure I would like a vampire story. Once I finally started reading the first one I was hooked! Couldn't put them down. Loved the movie and can't wait for New Moon to come out! | |

| I read the books and saw the movie and I just don't get the appeal. I spent all the time I was reading the books wanting to smack the main character. She is such a whiny twit! | |

| I love Vampires... but not Twilight. Most people who read it either love it or hate it, but I'm in the middle... it was okay to read--- once. I gave the books to my sister for Christmas, and she likes them so much she'll reread them. The movie I found corny...they picked the wrong guy to play Edward, IMO. But boy do my 4th grade girls love it! Three of my 5 girls are reading it now... and they had to make a mini movie for a project... they made a Twilight inspired movie. LOL. I guess if it's getting kids to read it's okay. Just glad they're on the first book, because the farther in the series you get the more mature the content. | |

| I read the 4 books in like a month. The second one was a little hard for me to read, because it was just slow. But the other three I few thru. Saw the movie in theaters with a friend a week after it came out. Bought the DVD the first day it was out. Just ordered 7 tickets to see New Moon the day it comes out. I'm so excited!! Not much into sci-fi, but I think I liked it a lot for the love story. | |

| I read the books cos my niece loaned them to me. I almost gave up on the first one but she persuaded me to keep going. I made it through all the books and the last one was my favorite. | |

In the books, Edward is supposed to be so beautiful that it makes it hard to breath when looking at him. When I look at Robert Pattinson, the only thing I can think of is that he looks like he needs a shower. The actor who plays Jacob on the other hand is smokin' hot! | |

| LOL girls. I so didn't think edward was that hot. but I guess maybe with the younger set, that's what they find attractive. I was so opposed to seeing the movie on principle, but was at my sister's house and they wanted to watch it. She did say that it left out a LOT. But can I say that the boy on new moon, the native american, is freaking HOT. I will watch that movie just to drool over him. | |

| I am all about chic lit. I love a good mystery, don't get me wrong. But I love books like Bergdorf Blondes and Bridges of Madison County (my all time fav). | |
