started on holiday cards? Do you send out Thanksgiving cards?Christmas Cards? If so, tell us all your method please. I am always curious if other people send out cards like I do. I am starting on Thanksgiving Cards this wk hopefully.Need a picture to put in them,but that's not happening with this rain...It is BLACK outside and it's only 8:00a.m....well hope you all have a great day! ONly 1 more day!!! bounce

I send a couple of Thanksgiving cards and more Christmas Cards. I actually have a bunch of extra from last year, since I wasn't able to send nearly as many as I would have liked, so I won't have to make too many this year. Smile

Yeah thanks to Marti I got my xmas cards done too. I only send 1 or 2 Thanksgiving cards out.

Yup, I also got a bunch done thanks to Marti. I usually only make like 10 then send store bought ones, but this year I might make them all.

Other holidays it depends on if I want to make them. This year I'm sending out two Halloween cards.

I send Christmas cards! I need to get started! I usually start with hunting down a picture, then I design the card digitally and have them printed. But right now I need to do my little one's first b-day invites which are next month! Yikes!

this sounds fun..I skipped Halloween this year cause we have a big party so they just got the little coffin invites with the litttle skeleton in them that says" we're dying to have you over"....so fun..found them cheap on Oriental Trading.

ok...I'm going to sound like a grinch...

but I don't make any holiday cards...or send them out anymore.

Cards are tough for me to make...and while I used to send them out when the terrors were little...I used to send photos along and sometimes a letter...but no one would call and say they got it...no response. That got tiring after a while...so I stopped.

Maybe I should start up again...and just make them for family members I know won't put them in the trash... Sad

not a grinch,but maybe not appreciated...I can understand. I bought a stamp that said"this better not go in the trash" and placed it where you would otherwise see "hallmark" you would be surprised how many people loved it,which means were they looking for hallmark? haha! anyhow, I spend some time on my cards and so I just send the nicer ones to closer friends and family...they usually know i made them and comment on how they keep them cause i made them. that means a whole lot. ..do you sign yours on the back? maybe put that or something? ...just so you can enjoy giving them out again? especially if you like making them. I hope you have a change of heart.

I actually had sooo many last year, I have about 15 already done and usually make about 50 to send out.. I have done a couple already but not enough. the hard part is to make them not too "bumpy" for shipping purposes.

oh yeah...learned that rule real fast cause i loooove 6x6 cards,but to ship them??? 89 per card...yikes!
