Anyone else here totally addicted to making minibooks?
I make them as gifts, but I have a ton that I've kept for myself too.

I jeep them in a basket in my living room so guests can flip through them, but I'm running out of space!! I've added 3 or 4 since I took this picture too!

Where do you keep your minis?
What's the theme of your favorite one?
Do you use pre-made minis or make your own out of found stuff?

hey kimmy!

i am sooo like you in that dept.
i have them on a shelf and they are going in a basket or on another cabinet or something. everyone loves to look at them. they are little conversation pieces...guess i'll always have a reason to talk,eh? I never do a kit....I always see the shape, get ideas and go to town....but they are soooo fun. I have my friends addicted.

I love making minis, but most I have given as gifts. Smile The few I have for me are packed away in a box. Sad But when we get settled somewhere, I hope to have them in a basket somewhere, so everyone can look at them. Smile

I am not a fan of the mini. I hate making them, even for gifts.

I've about 10 minis - they're in a box in my scrapping area - I think i'll try doing a few more as gifts.

So cute! I love the basket in the living room Idea. I keep my layout albums in mine, and I love when my family enjoys looking at them! Great idea!

I love the idea, as well.

I think I'll do this as I accumulate them. I plan on making the bulk of them as gifts though...

I love making mini's too! I love that it's something with a definite end, not like my normal ongoing albums.

I was totally into mini books about a year or two ago, but after making about 20 + I really began to dread them. I have not made one now in about a year silent

I've done a couple and I don't like the size. I don't do them for gifts because I think it's a lot of effort for too little appreciation (it's pretty much why I don't do homemade gifts at all). And I'm sure this will be a sacrilige to most of you, but I kind of see them as "clutter". I need one more thing in my house to dust like I need a hole in the head. affraid

I haven't made a mini book in ages. I am thinking about doing one soon though with pics from our New Orleans trip... landmark type pics. Very Happy
