wishlist, anyone????

Has anyone's kids been handing them wish lists yet?

My kids don't normally do this...this is the first year we had the kids ask us for anything...and then we get a list from my son...which is very short....

yesterday my DD (Oldest one) hands me hers.

my 8 year old asked for a treasure chest from Oriental Trading as she was scouring the magazine...yes, the one that comes with all the little junk toys....about $14 bucks. and a walmart gift card...easy as pie.
10 yr old wants cd's and
16 yr old wants money to put into his car....
I guess it could always be worse?

Can I just say that my daughter's list would look almost identical? She's 8 too. But the funny thing? my SON (6) wants the cupcake maker! I bake a lot and we watch a lot of food tv, includinig Duff and charm city cakes! I keep praying he will grow up to be a chef. I may just get him that cupcake maker for christmas!

she just caught me off guard with that list...she went from easy to please to a high maintenance chicky!!!!

that's just one child's list - we have 4!!! What are they thinking?!?!?!?!?!?

see, their little brains have been sucked up by the electronic aliens...lol
they all want anything that will plug in and almost fly them to the moon.ha! i say we go back to a real christmas and start making our gifts??? we are fixing to do away with gifts and just take a family trip.we do not need anything.i thnk there are plenty of people who do not need jack. we just want ,want,want...they would freakk out.

AMEN SISTA!!! AMEN!! It's a sad day when we as parents begin to dread the thoughts of Christmas. What happened to the real meaning of it all?!?!

LOL ! We already told our kids that our vacation in Hawaii is everyone's present. However Nathan would still like a spare computer !! and Lauren wants some DS lite games to play on the trip
