What technique did you try out recently? something that was new to you. Did you like it? and have you used it sense you tried it?

I've tried a couple of new things recently...

1. creating a background with tissue paper, modge podge & glimmer mist...which I did again just last week. Fun but messy!! (Can't find the first pic now and still have to upload the 2nd one! Will show you all later what it looks like.)

2. Dripping glimmer mist onto a LO with an eyedropper for a splattery look...I've only done that one once, but I loved how it looked and will definitely use it again!

3. Last night I got some new glimmer mist that I ordered... I tried cleaning the nozzles in the sink because they seemed to not be spraying right... it left a lot of glimmer mist behind blending the 3 colors together with water. I rubbed a piece of paper in it (can't waste that glimmer mist!!) and it looked kind of marbled. I'm going to try this again on some tin foil or something so that it comes out less patchy...I filled in the spaces with prays of the mist, but I think it'll look more marbleized if I do it on something flat...

I've recently been playing around with digi stamp images here and there. Kinda fun to color them in and use them. Very Happy

i demo-ed a make & take this past weekend at C.A.R. (Crop Am Rhein) here in Germany using the Tattered Angels Bingo Board, new Glimmer Mist colors & masking! loveeeeeee those boards & so many possibilities!!

you can check out peeks on my blog here: Tattered Angels Bingo Boards

the demo was a HUGE hit!

i also worked in demo-ing with the MM Slice machine! a nifty little machine perfectly portable and more reasonable than QK. however, pluses & minuses to each but a sweet demo with it too!

good times! :-)

Tim Holtz's watercolor technique. Love how the card turned out and will definitely be doing it again and again.
