12/17/09 - Photo Swap challenge

so anyone up for a swap? I would like to swap a photo with someone and then scrap a page for them to return to them when finished. we can get our partners now and then play over the holidays to return our pages after the new year.

So I will take names and then in one week I will partner up ladies to swap..and then we can hurry to get our photos in the mail.

I hope there will be interest.....so I am in!

*sigh* if I knew I'd have my scrappy stuff out of storage I would love to do this with you ladies... but I can't commit not knowing when we'll be in a place. Sorry!

I love doing this! It is so much fun. I will do it if you get enought to play. Write something up and I will send it to "all members" so we can do this after the first of the year.

that sounds fun! I think I would like to play, but I have a few questions.
Is this traditional scrappin or digi? Would it be a 12x12 layout and how do you send it back to them without bends? Just curious? Thanks!

Jewels- I've done one before where you made an actual 12x12 page. It's not that hard to mail a page without getting it bent. Slap it between two of those chipboard pieces that scrapbook stores mail paper to you in... and then tape it up. You can wrap it in brown paper and put the address outside. If worried about weather you could seal it in a big baggie before wrapping it in paper or sticking it in a box.

There you are! Thought you vanished. I saw this thread abandoned and tried to revive it. You still in. So far there's only 3 of us.

Let me see if Jewels is interested...I would love to swap with her or any of you that are in....never done this before but would love to see what others can do with a pic of us :-).

another way to mail is to take a first class box like the ones I mail the kits in, instead of making it a box, press it flat and tape up the neds with packing tape. Very secure and they won't bend it.
