| Since we're on the subject of organizing, how do you organize your paper. Do you go by brand or theme or color? How do you do it? I try to go by color, but it's not always effective | |

| Some are by size, others are by theme, others are just thrown in my paper organizer. | |

| i have tried everything. i've gotten to where i buy those IRIS brand 12x12 latch containers at hobby lobby and store my most popular themes in them with all the scraps and embellies for that specific theme as well so i can get it and go if i need to. it sooo works. i had the store displays, the paper holders that get wobbly after while, the whole enchilada and this works so well. i keep my solid colors, glimmer, bling and diecut papers in a little white STERLITE crate from walmart...and seperate them with the plastic dividers...that too works well. | |

| Too much paper!! I started out organizing them by color, then added some racks of certain manufacturers I love, and ended up with some themed shelves.... So I'm organized 3 different ways on my paper rack (but have so many kit bags I hardly ever look at my rack unless I need something specific. I'll have to take a photo. I need organization HELP!!! | |

| I also use the 12x12 plastic tubs from the craft store, and I try to organize by color, texture, etc. It works for a while then I have to re-organize! Great question Tina! I like hearing how everyone does their organizing! | |

That sounds about right! My "paper organizer" is a big rubber maid tub, and the 12x12 papers are on end in there, so I can kind of flip through them--kind of by color, kind of by maker. I do have a really neat wooden shelf we got at an antique mall for, well, I don't recall exactly, but it was less than five dollars--it's at least five foot tall, and has lots of shelves that fit all my 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock, vellum, papers. Give me a good way to store my scraps, please! That's what really bugs me--all the decent size pieces that are too big to just pitch, but I don't have any decent way to organize them.

i bought the little scraps paper holder at walmart (can also be found at big lots) 5$ and i go by color of rainbow and it works. i've had it for about 4-5 years now. works like a charm! i only kee pieces big enough to me...i have friends that keep every sq inch of a piece of paper. not for me.

| Lora, is it like an accordian folder? I do kind of that. Only, I have them in a plastic shoebox. They're separated by pieces of cardboard (like from a cereal box) in rainbow order. It's those pieces that have like equal amounts of different colours that drive the obsessive compulsive in me bonkers. I swear I put way too much thought into it. | |

| I use the Advantus Cropper Hoppers to store my paper (I'm pretty much only a 12x12 gal). I have 16 of them for my patterned paper and cardstock and they sit on a two-shelf bookshelf that we bought years ago from a craft store. I organize all my patterned paper by manufacturer (except Christmas - that's actually stored in another Cropper Hopper separately). The cardstock is supposed to be organized by color, but it hasn't happened yet. I'll have to take a picture once my scraproom is organized enough to walk through. | |

| ALL of the above sound better than little piles here and there . . .
at the very least I should consolidate them all.
