| Okay, so i mentioned the my DH brought home a desk for my scrap room. Well now I have a delima. THe desk has a grey top with light wook on the sides. I have a shelf (organizer) it's actually a cubical CUBICAL that i want, and a book shelf. So the dilemma is get white, because that is what I would love all my furniture to be some day, or just get the light brown and everything will match now. Well, until I get more organized furniture that might be white? Not sure what to do? What do you think? Or do I get the white one just like this, a white book shelf, and try to get a different desk later.... down the rode? DOn't know ladies! Need your thoughts! | |

| That's a stinkin' fab desk, Jewels. I'd say paint it all white. Or have dh do it since you are with child. | |

| I agree, painting the sides white & leaving the gray top would look very sharp! That desk is SO cool! What a great space for scrapping!! | |

| well Jewels, just make it your space while you're there, especially if you aren't leaving real soon. No sense in being uncomfortable. We own our home, but I'm ready for another so I can have a scraproom. Right now I work in the garage. It's a total mess right now cause I didn't put back my stuff from unloading, I started to play and was messy....look at this space...it's large enough to have room and i love my table ,but then look at this .....yep, that 12x12 section on the table is where i work. i am funny that way. i love to have everything i dabble in,then i cut, glue, embellish and do everything in that tiny spot. | |

| Wow, Lora, what a wonderful lot of space! It does NOT look like a garage, either.
Jewels, I'm looking at how nice that desk is, and thinking, do you really care enough to mess with painting it? Is it worth the effort?
But then, my art room is so stacked with various supplies, I don't pay any attention to the table and such--I figure it's just going to end up with paint, or glue, or glitter on it anyway.
(Shana--the floor is another shelf!!!!)
I could NEVER have carpet in my art area. Oy, that would be a mistake, indeed.

I will post pics asap. Thanks for sharing your tips and Trisha if I could pull out that carpet I would definitely have wood floor... someday! I am thankful for may space now!
